Monty Python- Architects Sketch
..
In case there's anybody out there wondering... I've gone back to college.
I'm 55, unemployed, mobility-challenged, unemployable, no matter what Momentum says about the ADA, so ... what the heck?
It beats sitting 'round here with my thumb up my ass.
MSBPodcast is on hiatus.
I will return to podcasting as soon as I have deepened my knowledge of the broadcasting world.
To be honest, it was incredibly unrewarding. Caught between too little feedback and a total lack of interest by the people who are supposed to be helping us, in their own captive community of customers, I got preoccupied with other concerns.
I'm continuing this podcast as soon as I graduate and recapture interest in doing it.
Who knows? Maybe I'll get to run somebody's ad. (Beyond the one I'm carrying for Joel Goodman's book.)
So in parting:
"...that's the sort of blinkered, philistine pig ignorance I've come to expect from you non-creative garbage. You sit there on your loathsome, spotty behinds squeezing blackheads, not caring a tinker's cuss for the struggling artist. You excrement! You whining, hypocritical toadies, with your colour TV sets and your Tony Jacklin golf clubs and your bleeding Masonic secret handshakes! ..."

So you arent' going to be blogging any time soon???
Hello Miss Chris,
I will be MS blogging, recording the occasional MS poddast (and MSBPodcast.com is now a wiki so I'm pulling up my St. Peter's College wiki pages on there.
Sorry if it seems like I'm abandoning everybody, but, in effect, I am, because I have school work due.
Its just that I'm going to be too busy to blog about MS for a while. Plus I have to find myself a radio internship.
That may require some blogging about (depending on the amount of prejudice I encounter against MS.)
Well I sure hope all goes well with school. Definitely throw us a bone if you get the time! :)
I definitely will.
As it turns out, the college is interested in podcasting their courses, classes and events, so I may be doing it for them as well. (Or at least helping them to set it up.)
I have to attend a lunch meeting with my professor and a dean later today so ... wish me luck ...
Good Luck to you for sure! I hope it goes well...

Hey Miss Chris,
how would you like to be kept in the loop while I'm off to college? (I could use somebody to evaluate my podcasts who's not actually younger than my underwear [college kids are an endless source of fascination but I don't trust their judgment worth crap.])
Send me your email address (to charles at msbpodcast.com ) and I can let you hear what I've been up to.
They're hour-long classical music* podcasts, three times a week. I can send you the URL to the podcasts.
*You just know> that its classical quite like you've never heard it before.
