msb-0200 An Anniversary, of Sorts

msb-0200 An Anniversary, of Sorts

Make that a "type" of anniversary ("sort" has a very "specific" meaning to computer geeks. [As in: "Art of Computer Programming, Volume 3: Sorting and Searching (2nd Edition) (Hardcover)", by "Donald Knuth", ISBN: 0201896850.] The internet may know all, but its useless unless "you" want to find out too... :-)

Actually "type" does too so I guess 'kind" will do. Sounds gentler too.

Yes, its the two hundredth show. Whoopdedoo...

I've got nothing to prove, nothing to say, nothing to nothing to do ... but "enjoy it".

Feedback comes first, so...

Apart from having about 125 downloaders per show and over 26,600 downloaded episodes, there's nothing to report.

So I'll let the music speak for me...

Feed Forward comes next, so...

This is "your" segment.

Say "your" piece on this segment.

Share with other MSers whatever "you" want to share.

Drop me an email: charles at MSBPodcast.com

And I would apreciate if someone could write a review of this podcast on iTunes [ http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=120932170 ] You can just select the link and, eventually, scroll down the iTunes page to "Customer Reviews"

ctv.ca has an article [ http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20070813/ms_vaccine_070813/20070814?hub=World ] about a therapy developed by research team led by Montreal neuroimmunologist Dr. Amit Bar-Or which tested the effectiveness of a vaccine, called BHT-3009, that incorporates the DNA sequence of myelin basic protein into cells, which then start to make the protein.

Now "that" sounds promising. I trust that the drug will have some better sounding and more, uh, acceptable name than "BHT-3009" by the time it reaches market.

And when will it reach "the marketplace"? Who the [expletive deleted] knows?

Its another of those 'non-news' bull shit news items.

Join us next week as we show the audience how to reconcile the Japanese and the Koreans.

Feed Me comes third, so...

Do you have a therapy, product, good or service that is of interest to MSers?

Consider advertising on this podcast.

Reminders on this segment only cost $0.03 per reminder per download of an episode. (A $30CPM targeted at MSers.)

It can/should lead to a full ad, in text, audio or video, which costs $3.00 per download.

That sounds expensive until you do the math and realize that if nobody downloads it it costs you nothing, unlike print, where you often can't even get an ad in to the specialized journals, or radio or TV where you'd just be wasting your money with the 0.0833% MSers rate of return. (That's about six times "below" the level of "statistical noise".)

But MSBPodcast is 100% in your market, and you only pay per download of your material.

No play, no pay.

Reach the MSers who would buy your therapy, product, good or service, with-out having to waste your advertising money on anyone who is "not" interested...

Happy Anniversary. I hope this next year brings you even more listeners.

Hello Miss Chris,

as long as I can stand my own music picks, (always an iffy proposition with having a really eclectic taste in music,) and as long as my audience can stand my tastes in music (an even iffier supposition because our tastes might not mesh that in that way on that day,) I should not annoy anybody too much. :-)

But my stats have revealed some things to me about building an audience.

I'm proud to say that with my wifes blessing, (she realizes my need to kvetch, whine, bitch and moan), and my own resources (podcasting is really cheap once you've got the equipment), ain't no getting rid of me.

(But part of me still likes the ol' "I got tears in my ears, lying on my back, crying my eyes out over you" C+W "hurting songs". :-)

Happy artifice...
